Meaningful work experience opportunities in local charities
QProjects won the Guardian Employability Award in 2014. The scheme offers exciting work experience opportunities in a range of local charities. Students become Project Leaders, delivering challenging projects that local charities in East London might not otherwise have the time or skills to get done. Past projects have included developing a marketing campaign, data analysis, search engine optimisation, and running healthcare workshops. Read testimonials from previous participants here.
Each project gives you the chance to gain (and showcase to future employers) a range of transferable skills, and might even give you some experience working in a career area that interests you.
Hours can be flexible and will vary depending on specific role, but most projects take around 30 hours over 3 months.

Application is by CV with a covering letter. Candidates will be asked to undertake an interview. Book an appointment with the Careers & Enterprise team to get help with your CV and interview skills before you apply.
