Do something worthwhile and get paid to talk to Queen Mary alumni all over the world
The role will involve phoning alumni to update them on current news and activities taking place at the College, and ask for a donation to the Annual Fund. Compulsory training is provided.
As well as gaining experience of telephone fundraising, you are likely to develop communication, negotiation and record keeping skills, as well as the ability to deal with confidential information.
The telephone campaign lasts 4 weeks, normally from mid-November – mid-December. Two evening shifts and either Saturday or Sunday per week for the whole campaign (c. 13 hours per week)
Recruitment has finished for 2016, but will open in 2017 at least 6-8 weeks before the campaign and will be advertised at the Experience Works fair by student emails and around campus. An online application form will be available on our website.
