Careers Information Fairs

Our careers information fairs are the ideal place for organisations to showcase recruitment opportunities, and to meet with our diverse and talented student body.

Business and Finance Fair

A flagship event in our events calendar, the Business and Finance Fair continues to connect employers with students looking for opportunities in this growing sector. Although aimed at our penultimate and finalist students in our schools of Economics & Finance, Business & Management and Maths, the event is open to all students and attracts over 500 attendees each year from across the university.

This year's event will take place on Monday 7th October 2019.

Law Fair

The School of Law at Queen Mary is ranked first in London and third in the UK by the Guardian University Guide 2018, behind only Oxford and Cambridge. This event continues to connect employers with our award-winning students, looking for opportunities to progress their legal careers. Although aimed at our penultimate and finalist law students, the event is open to all cohorts and attracts over 800 attendees each year.

This year's Law Fair will take place on Monday 21st and Tuesday 22nd October 2019.

Science & Technology Fair

Combining two very successful career events, this fair highlights opportunities to our students from both of these growing sectors. Although aimed at our penultimate and finalist students in our schools of Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Materials Science, Physics and Astronomy, Biological and Chemical Sciences, Bioengineering and Maths, the event is open to all students and attracts over 500 attendees each year from across the university.

This event will take place on Monday 28th & Tuesday 29th October 2019.

School of Biological & Chemical Sciences (SBCS) Careers Forum

The SBCS Careers Forum is our conference-style event for students studying in our School of Biological & Chemical Sciences, and organised in partnership with the school. The event focuses on highlighting the range of employment opportunities and the value of skills learnt from these degrees.

This event is free to attend, but we do welcome sponsorship of prizes and sessions.

School of Engineering & Material Science (SEMS) Industrial Liaison Forums

There are two Industrial Liaison Forums scheduled for staff and students in the School of Engineering and Materials Science (SEMS) and the Materials Research Institute (MRI) each academic year.

The aims of this event are to help companies by increasing the amount of collaborative industrially focused work we undertake, and to enhance our students' experience and to help improve their employability.
