We host a range of events and workshops every year, which range from lunch-and-learn sessions, fireside chats, panel discussions and networking through to pitching competitions. These events are open to the entire student population.
Some of our recurring initiatives include:
Venture Crawl is an initiative between 13 UK universities to explore the entrepreneurial highlights of London by Routemaster bus.
The journey takes students to some of London's top innovation hubs and workspaces to experience London's startup ecosystem first-hand and meet top entrepreneurial leaders.
Participants take part in behind the scenes tours, talks and activities. The event is designed to give students the opportunity to connect to real-world businesses, be inspired by the UK’s vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem, and gain skills in self-confidence, creative thinking, and leadership.
GradVenture is the University of London’s start-up competition for students and graduates, attracting the most innovative start-ups emerging from UoL campuses.
Students and recent graduates from participating UoL colleges can enter into one of two categories by submitting a short application form and 60 second video pitch, showcasing innovative, game-changing ideas.
In Winter, shortlisted applicants are asked to pitch their ideas live at the semi-finalists’ bootcamp in London. 5 start-ups from each category will then go on to compete for the opportunity to win a share of £10,000 at the finals in Spring.
